Why sell with us

You built the agency. We'll get you paid for it.

You don't need to become an expert in selling a business. That's our job. You bring the agency you spent years building — we bring the buyers and the experience to get you the best deal.

We bring the buyers

We have a network of serious, qualified buyers actively looking to acquire agencies like yours. You don't have to go find them — we already know them.

We fight for your price

We know what your agency is really worth, and we run a competitive process so you get the best deal — not the first lowball offer that comes along.

We handle the hard part

Selling an agency is complicated. We manage the details and the paperwork so you can keep running your business right up until closing.

It stays confidential

Nothing about your agency is shared with anyone without your written consent. Your staff, clients, and carriers don't find out until you're ready.

How it works

Three simple steps to a sale.

No confusing jargon and no homework. Here's exactly what happens after you reach out.

1

Book a confidential call

Tell us about your agency — your size, your lines of business, and your timeline. No pressure, no obligation. Just a conversation.

2

We bring it to buyers

We take your agency to the serious buyers in our network and run a competitive process designed to drive the price up, not down.

3

We get you the best deal

We negotiate on your behalf and guide you all the way to a signed deal — so you walk away with what your agency is actually worth.

Frequently asked questions

The questions agency owners actually ask.

Straight answers about the process, the cost, and what happens to the business you built.

Why work with a broker instead of selling my agency on my own?

Owner-run deals often close for less than they should. Sellers don't know the full buyer universe, don't have leverage from multiple offers, and rarely spot the value drivers buyers will pay a premium for. We run a competitive process so buyers bid against each other — not against you — and net you more even after our fee.

How is my agency's value determined?

Value is primarily driven by EBITDA, with typical market multiples in the 5–8x range for smaller agencies and 8–14x for larger ones. On top of that, we look at revenue growth, client retention, your commercial vs. personal mix, carrier relationships, and how dependent the book is on any one producer. We build a defensible valuation from your financials and current buyer demand — then defend that price in front of buyers.

How much does it cost? Are there upfront fees?

There are no upfront fees. We only get paid when your agency sells — a success fee agreed on before we start, based on the final sale price. If your deal doesn't close, you owe us nothing.

Will my sale really stay confidential?

Yes. Nothing about your agency — name, location, financials — is shared with anyone without your written consent. Every prospective buyer signs an NDA before we share identifying information. Your staff, clients, and carriers won't know unless and until you decide to tell them.

Who are the buyers you bring to the table?

We don't market your agency to just anyone with a checkbook. Every buyer in our network has been vetted for financial capacity, cultural fit, and their intentions for your staff and clients. The right buyer for your agency is one you'd trust to run it after you're gone.

What size and type of agencies do you work with?

Independent P&C, life & health, benefits, and specialty agencies — from small books of business under $500K in revenue up to multi-million-dollar agencies. If you're unsure whether your agency is a fit, reach out and we'll tell you honestly.

How long does the process take?

Well-prepared deals typically close in 90–180 days from the first serious buyer conversation. Some move faster, some take longer, depending on your timeline, deal complexity, and buyer diligence. We manage the pace to protect your leverage without dragging things out.

What happens to my staff and clients after the sale?

That's part of the deal terms we negotiate on your behalf. Most buyers want to retain your staff and preserve your client relationships — it's what they're paying for. If continuity for your team matters to you, we build that into the buyer criteria from day one.
